It is with sadness that the Napier Fire Brigade advise of the passing of retired Senior Firefighter John MacAlister Nichol, on 3rd January 2026. John was a respected and valued member of the Napier Fire Brigade, (1974 – 2011), and his community.
Henderson Volunteer Fire Brigade wish to advise of the sudden passing of Station Officer John Brennan on 1/1/2026. John joined the West Auckland Volunteers on 30 June 1983. John also served at Glen Eden, West Harbour (formerly Waitemata Station) and Henderson.
