Update on independent positive workplace culture review
In April, Rebecca Keoghan, our Board Chair, announced her request for Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission to undertake an independent review of our progress to build a positive workplace culture.
See a fire before it starts – our new winter fire safety campaign
Every year as the temperatures drop, we see a significant increase in the number of house fires due to the increased use of heat sources such as heaters, fireplaces, electric blankets and dryers.

Little River Volunteer Fire Brigade advises of the passing of Ian Marriott ex Operational Support on 12 June 2022. At Ian’s request a private cremation will be held.

Gilbert (Gillie) Barnett
The Te Puke Fire Brigade advises of the passing of Retired DCFO Gilbert (Gillie) Barnett who passed away on Sunday 12 June. Gillie served the Te Puke Volunteer Brigade from 1969 to 1994.

Early pay run close-off
As Matariki falls on a pay run processing day, payroll need to process the next pay run early. This means the cut-off for the next pay run will change from 5pm on Wednesday 22 June to 5pm on Tuesday 21 June.
