As Matariki falls on a pay run processing day, payroll need to process the next pay run early. This means the cut-off for the next pay run will change from 5pm on Wednesday 22 June to 5pm on Tuesday 21 June.

To ensure everyone is paid in time for the next run, all payroll documents need to be completed and sent to the payroll inbox – NHQPayroll@fireandemergency.nz no later than 5pm next Tuesday, 21 June. This includes:

  • timesheets
  • new employee documents
  • changes to contracts, eg secondments
  • loss of income applications
  • changes to bank account details

Any documentation not received by payroll by 5pm on Tuesday will be processed in the following pay period.

Please ensure payroll is notified of any employees leaving Fire and Emergency as soon as possible, along with their confirmed last day of work. This is to ensure an overpayment does not occur.
