Chatham Island Volunteer Fire Brigade advises of the passing of Ex CFO Joseph Ehau Thomas, QSM, Gold Star Member, Life Member and Brigade Kaumatua on 20 August 2023. He will be laid to rest at the Whanau Urupā on Saturday 26 August. More details to follow.

Ōkaihau Fire Brigade advises the passing of ex member Brian Denton. Brain served 5 years at Ahipara and then 8 years with Ōkaihau. Brian will be fondly remembered for his vintage fire engines and memorabilia.
