Notice of upcoming planned outage - SMS and m.Pad applications impacted

Our ICT teams are working on implementation of the replacement Āwhina-Evacuation Schemes application from 1pm Wednesday 23 August 2023 to 8am Monday 28 August 2023.

Implementation requires a significant outage window for m.Pad and Online Services (OLS) and two outage windows to SMS and Incident Reporting.

Indicative outage timings for SMS & SMS Incident Reporting:

Outage 1: Wednesday 23 August 2023, 1.30pm - 3pm
Outage 2: Sunday 27 August 2023, 7pm - 8.30pm

Outage timings for m.Pad and Online Services (OLS) for the duration of the implementation:

Wednesday 23 August 2023 at 1pm until Monday 28 August 2023 at 8am

Exact timings and duration of outages may vary.

The implementation requires a long change window, and timings have been scheduled to minimise impact on personnel. These outages will impact the following applications and services:

SMS (entire application)
SMS Incident Reporting
M.Pad (entire application)
Online Services (OLS)

Please note that following implementation, both m.Pad and Online Services may look a little different due to the relocation and upgrade of the Evacuation Scheme application.
