The 150th anniversary of firefighting in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland was celebrated last Sunday at a major open day at The Cloud on Queens Wharf in Auckland.
It is with great sadness the Nelson Marlborough District advise of the passing of Ian (Monty) Montgomery. Ian was the past Controller with the Ōkiwi Bay Brigade, a position he held for many years. In keeping with Ian’s wishes, a private cremation has been held.

It is with a huge degree of sadness that Kaikohe Fire Brigade advise of the sudden passing on Thursday 15 March of ex DCFO Andrew Prangley. Andrew served with the Paeroa, Rawene, Kaikohe and Kamo Brigades, completing a total 26.
