“I prefer to distinguish ADD as attention abundance disorder. Everything is just so interesting, remarkably at the same time.”

– Frank Coppola

Neurodiverse. Scripting. Neurotypical. On the spectrum. Savant. Person-first language. Splinter skill. These are just some of the words associated with neurodiversity.

To help people learn more about neurodiversity, check out the Portal for our newly released page with a toolkit of resources about the different conditions under the neurodiversity umbrella term and short case studies of how people can be supported in the workplace if they have different needs.

We’d like to thank the National Fire Chiefs Council, in Kent, for allowing us to access their toolkit of resources. This toolkit is intended to help managers to create a supportive and inclusive environment that helps people with neurodiverse conditions harness the unique strengths they bring.
