Wellington District advise the passing of ex-member Gordon Duncan on Saturday 1st June. Gordon, a long serving member of the Wellington Brigade was also very active in the Union, and served as the National President during those exciting times in the early 1990s.

Waihaorunga Volunteer Fire Brigade are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Firefighter Jade Halkett on Saturday 25 May 2024. A celebration of Jade’s life will be held at Waimate A&P Showgrounds Pavillion, 26 Hakataramea Highway, Waimate, on Tuesday, 4 June at 2pm.
