Systems improvements this week
Our ICT team continues to work on improving our systems and networks to ensure these are up to date and working as required.
Reminder: SMS - Internet Explorer is unsupported from today
From today, anyone wanting to access SMS from their personal device will need to complete one of two processes outlined in this article.
System outages 14 June – 7PM – 11PM: multiple systems
Remote access, wireless network connectivity and internet access may experience outages of three to five minutes during this time.
Network Change - Saturday 18 June - Now Postponed
There will be short intermittent outages of the Fire and Emergency network this Saturday as our ICT team updates and replaces our datacentre firewall.
New ICT directorate structure finalised
Following the strategic review of the ICT directorate, the new structure has been finalised.

Internet Explorer will become unsupported by Microsoft on 15 June. To keep accessing SMS from your personal device, you will need to make some changes.
