Waiau Volunteer Fire Brigade advises of the passing of Ivan Anthony (Oakey) Weastell on 7 March 2024. Born on 10 November 1944, Oakey was a member of Waiau Volunteer Fire Brigade from 1962 till 1992 and Chief Fire Officer from 1973 till 1992.
