Ōhope Volunteer Fire Brigade advises the passing of Firefighter Julia Florence on the 14th December. Julia joined the Brigade on the 15 July 2020, completed her Volunteer Recruits Course and was a dedicated and competent fire-fighter.
Wellsford Volunteer Fire Brigade advises of the passing of past Chief Fire Officer John Cowpland (Pom).
John joined Wellsford Fire Brigade on 27 January 1980, transferring from Rawene Brigade where he began his service.
