Blackball Volunteer Fire Brigade wish to advise the passing of former firefighter Barney Donaldson. Barney was a Gold star recipient and Life member of the Blackball brigade. A service will be held at St Patricks Church High Street Greymouth Friday 21 June, at 1pm.

Wellington District advise the passing of Dave Bould. Dave served in Wellington in 1970s and 80s with his final years at Brooklyn Station. Dave died on Wednesday morning and the family held a private funeral for him on Friday 14th June.

The Diamond Harbour Volunteer Fire Brigade sadly advise of the passing of ex Chief Fire Officer Charlie Dudley on Saturday 8 June 2024. Charlie served as the Chief Fire Officer with Diamond Harbour from April 1961 to August 2000.

It is with regret that the Gore Volunteer Fire Brigade advise of the passing of retired Station Officer Gary MacKenzie. Gary completed 20 years of service with the Gore and Clinton Brigades and often turned out by day with the Heriot VFB.
