Dunedin Fire Brigade announce the passing of Victor Young on 11 November 2023. After service in the British Royal Navy, Victor served in the Dunedin Control Room from 1975 until retiring in 1999.
Victor relocated to Christchurch after retiring. A private service has been held.

Wellington Fire Brigade wish to advise the sudden passing of former Senior Firefighter Stu McLennan on Thursday 16 November 2023. Stu served with the Wellington Fire Brigade from 1972 until 1996.
