Following the successful update of our systems on 24 May, our ICT team will be completing further work to update and replace key network configurations and components at our Auckland and Wellington datacentres. This is to ensure our systems remain safe and secure.

To complete the work, there are some key changes coming up over the coming weeks that may impact some of our people. These changes will be at times where the impact on the business is minimised.

Next week will see the following outages:

Outage 1: 31 May 11 PM - 1 June 2 AM

  • Skype for Business
    • All communication outside of Fire and Emergency’s network (ie with any third parties over the internet) will not work during the outage

Outage 2: 2 June 11 PM - 3 June 3 AM

  • Skype for Business
  • Polycom Telephony (voice conferencing technology in offices)
  • Phish-Me Email Filtering
  • M.PAD
