Last friday our National Women’s Advisory Committee met with Minister of Internal Affairs Hon. Jan Tinetti at Parliament to share their stories, and speak about some of the challenges faced by women in Fire and Emergency and work being done to support our wāhine.
We established the first seven Local Advisory Committees (LACs) in June last year to put communities at the heart of our work, seeing as it’s the communities that we serve.
