With states of local emergencies in place for Auckland and Northland, many families, including our own Fire and Emergency whanau have been impacted personally.  The Fire and Emergency National Coordination Centre (NCC) and Regional Coordination Centres (RCC) in Te Hiku and Nga Tai Ki Te Puku have been stood up to help manage the response. 

 

Welfare support for Fire and Emergency personnel

Our usual channels of wellbeing support(external link) continue to be available including access to peer supporters and counselling through Vitae.  Your local Welfare Officers are also available to support you and contact information for your local Welfare Officer can be found here(external link).
