Shauna McGuinn
Wellington District advises the passing of Shauna McGuinn previous National Injury Rehabilitation Coordinator and acting Manager.
Shauna worked for the NZ Fire Service from March 2007 through to late 2009. She worked with many firefighters nationally in her professional capacity and would often offer advice to many within the Wellington Fire District in a personal capacity as well.
Shauna was instrumental in the rehabilitation and care of the firefighters affected by the Tamahere Icepack coolstores explosion where she worked tirelessly ensuring they received their full entitlements and benefits and were afforded the best care available whilst coordinating with other government departments.
Shauna’s funeral will be at 11 AM on Monday the 24th of July at the Anglican Parish of Kapiti, 1 Langdale Avenue, Paraparaumu.
This will be followed by a function at the Boundary Tap and Kitchen Bar, 3 Raumati Road. All are welcome and encouraged to attend both venues.
