We have now released our policy addressing sexual harm.

The policy is designed to help you do the right thing by understanding what sexual harm is, how you can stop it or respond to it, what options you have if you experience or witness sexual harm, and support safe, active, upstander behaviours.

You can read the policy on the Portal

Fire and Emergency does not tolerate any form of sexual harm and this policy applies to everyone working at or volunteering with Fire and Emergency in all capacities with no exception. It applies everywhere, at all events and work sites, including volunteer stations.

If you, or someone you know, have experienced sexual harm, you can contact the BCO or Health Safety and Wellbeing. Other services and supports are available, and you can find them on the portal.

To develop this policy we have undertaken consultation, including with unions and associations. Fire and Emergency is committed to providing a positive and safe workplace where all people are respected, included and live our values.
