Fire and Emergency now has 17 official District Facebook pages!

They have a streamlined and consistent Fire and Emergency look and feel but they are run by the Districts.

These pages will be official sources of information for public information during emergencies, sharing fire season changes and other risk reduction and community engagement.

Give your local page a like, and encourage your friends, family and community to as well, to see the great work happening in your District, and help build up your local page's audience.

Our Communication Centres and Recruitment team also have official pages

With the introduction of our new District pages, it’s also a timely reminder to make sure you are familiar with our media policy(external link) - including using social media when administrating a Brigade or District page and in a personal capacity.

If you are an administrator on a Fire and Emergency Brigade page, you can also join our Fire and Emergency Social Media admins group(external link), where we provide support, tips and our latest campaign content.

Our team is always keen to hear about great stories and photos we can share on the national Fire and Emergency page(external link) – so if you have any, send them through to media@fireandemergency.nz
