The results will be collated and shared with you within a couple of weeks.

About the survey

This is the second of three short ‘pulse check’ surveys we’re running over a 12 month period. It’s our new way of running our people surveys – instead of one big survey that takes a lot of time to do, we’re running three short surveys with three different themes.

Our new shorter ‘pulse check’ surveys are in response to feedback about our previous people surveys being too long, hard to access and that it takes too long to hear the results.

The themes are all about our people and it’s a chance for you to have ‘your say’ about your experience at Fire and Emergency.

This survey’s theme is diversity, inclusion and cultural capability.

Each theme is directly linked to the strategic goals of our Tauākī Takune 2023–2027 Statement of Intent.

Our next survey will focus on safety, health and wellbeing.

Our partner Ipsos is independently running the survey for us. They will ensure all responses are treated in the strictest confidence to maintain your confidentiality. Fire and Emergency will not receive individual survey responses, and we’ll only be able to report on and see responses at an aggregated level.

The Executive Leadership Team is committed to using the results of these surveys to shape actions and priorities. Regions and Branches will also use the results to inform actions in their areas.

We also share the results with our Unions and Associations.
