It is with great sadness the New Plymouth Fire Brigade advise the passing of ex Senior Firefighter Graeme Trigger on Wednesday 13 March 2024.

Graeme joined Inglewood Fire Brigade in November 1963 and then moved to the New Plymouth Fire Brigade in 1969, where he served until 2007. He then transferred to the New Plymouth Operational Support Unit until he retired in 2017.

He was a Life Honorary Member of New Plymouth Brigade and obtained his 50-year medal in 2014.

A service to celebrate Graeme's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Wednesday 20 March 2024 at 2pm. Please wear undress uniform with medals without caps; a guard of honour will be performed at end of ceremony.
