Fire and Emergency supports Round the Bays fun run

Around 80+ Fire and Emergency people recently participated in the Wellington Round the Bays fun run, alongside family members, which helped make us the biggest single team entered into the event.

There was a great turnout from NHQ members, with both career and volunteer firefighters from throughout Region 3 getting involved, some coming from as far afield as Napier and the mighty Naki!

Our people were involved in all the event categories, from the ½ marathon, 10km and 6.5km run, through to the buggy walk. Several personal bests were recorded!

The event supported The Mental Health Foundation, Maura Tu Maura Ora, and some of the other charities being sponsored were:
