In March we were joined by Jacqui Maguire(external link), a clinical psychologist, writer, speaker and media contributor, to talk about ‘Staying well in the face of Omicron’.

On 12 April, Jacqui joined us for a session focused on supporting our leaders through this challenging time. The session, ‘Effective leadership during challenging times’, is now available for catch up below.

Jacqui’s session focused on useful things our people can do as leaders to support their own wellbeing, and how openly prioritising wellbeing gives permission for others to do the same. The session was interactive and provided a great insight into how leaders in our organisation are feeling.

During the webinar, Jacqui used and referenced materials. You can access the presentation that contains all these resources here:

The session with Jacqui was excellent opportunity for us all to reflect on our own practices and get some valuable advice as we navigate this challenging time.

If you have any feedback on the session, Jacqui would love to hear it. Please send your comments to communications@fireandemergency.nz and the Communications team will pass them onto Jacqui.
