The theme for next year’s conference is “Connecting communities. Creating resilience”.

AFAC encourages abstracts to align with one of five supporting topics: Social, Physical, Environmental, Organisational, or Technology and Innovation. Abstracts should be no more than 200 words in length; you can submit multiple abstracts for consideration.  If you’d like help with drafting your abstract, get in touch with Te Ao Mārama and they will work with you to shape it into the AFAC format.

All final abstracts need to be submitted to Te Ao Mārama by 11 January 2022. Please email them to AFAC.Conference@fireandemergency.nz.
