Cannington Fire Brigade advise of the passing of their Deputy Fire Force Controller Barry Bishop on Wednesday 21 September 2022.

Barry was a member of the Willowby Fire Brigade from 1993 to 2008 and he joined the Cannington Fire Brigade from 1 July 2008. He received his Gold Star Award in July 2022.

The service to celebrate Barry’s life will be held on Wednesday 28 September 2022 at 11.00am at the Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru.

The Cannington Fire Brigade will form a guard of honour.
