Barney McEnaney

West Coast Area advise the passing of Barney McEnaney, Double Gold Star member and Honorary Life Member of Greymouth Volunteer Fire Brigade, Kumara Volunteer Fire Brigade, West Coast Provincial Fire Brigades Association and Grey District Fire Brigades Sub Association.

Barney served for 56 years, 13 years for Kumara Volunteer Fire Brigade and 43 years for Greymouth Volunteer Fire Brigade, until his retirement in 2011. 

A service to celebrate Barney’s life will be held at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Greymouth on Saturday at 1pm.

Members and former members are asked to assemble at the Greymouth Fire Station at 12:15pm.
