This daylight saving we’re introducing Smokey the smoke alarm to New Zealand households, with the aim of motivating people to push the button to check their smoke alarms are working.

Virtual signings solidify key forestry relationships
The signings of two key agreements went ahead virtually on Wednesday 8 August, one between Fire and Emergency and the Department of Conservation (DOC), and the other with Plantation Forestry associations, and Te Uru Rakau.
