[Video] Piki Thomas at BNZ Auckland Lantern Festival
Our Deputy Chief Executive Kaupapa Māori and Cultural Communities, Piki Thomas attended the BNZ Auckland Lantern Festival, where our people were demonstrating tips for kitchen fire safety and using translated messages to educate on smoke alarms, escape plans, fireworks, sky lanterns and our home fire safety visits.
Piki grabbed some time with Firefighter Chao Zhuo to have a kōrero on our presence at the festival and the significance of the celebration for our Chinese community.
