This Thursday at 9.30am, remember to drop, cover and hold for ShakeOut.

At Fire and Emergency, we play a significant role in responding to major incidents like earthquakes and tsunamis.

ShakeOut provides an opportunity to remind us just how important it is to be well prepared as individuals and teams at Fire and Emergency. Being prepared means we will be better placed to help our communities when disaster strikes.

If the date and time don’t work for you, you can ShakeOut anytime within two weeks of the national drill and still be counted.

If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time: sign up to ShakeOut(external link)
