Pacific Islands Language Grant applications now open

The grant is an initiative to help Fire and Emergency NZ work more effectively with Pacific populations and to benefit the personal development of its recipients. It assists with tuition fees, resources and operational cover directly related to study in any Pacific Islands language or languages. The grant offers a total of $5,000 per annum that is allocated to one or more recipients.

Applications for the grant close on Friday 30th June 2023 and to be considered for the grant you must complete the online application form. [DOCX, 86 KB]

Successful applicants are required to provide a brief report on how this grant will benefit them and the organisation. See the Pacific Islands Languages Grant guidelines(external link) on the Portal for more information.
