New wellbeing pilot launched

Fire and Emergency and the NZPFU are working together on a pilot that will give career firefighters and communication centre personnel access to free and confidential psychological supervision sessions.

We are inviting up to 200 career firefighters and communication centre personnel at the following workplaces to register to take part:

Te Hiku	Ngā Tai ki te Puku	Te Ūpoko	Te Ihu	Te Kei
Manurewa Station Mangere Station Papatoetoe Station Northern Communication Centre	Hamilton Station Taupo Station Gisborne Station	Porirua Station Central Communication Centre	Nelson Station Southern Communication Centre	Invercargill Station

The pilot will run for 12 months and once completed, we will ask participants and psychologists to help evaluate the pilot.

Psychological supervision gives our people a chance to prioritise their wellbeing so that they can be at their best.
