Fire Information Unit is now called Regulatory Compliance Group
Fire Information Unit is now called Regulatory Compliance Group, to better reflect the team’s role within Fire and Emergency which includes:
- Receiving and processing Evacuation Scheme Applications, and monitoring trial evacuation and training reports
- Providing advice and guidance around the Fire Permitting process
- Receiving and processing Fire Hazard complaints
- Receiving and processing Emergency Response Plans
- Receiving and processing Pyrotechnic permit applications
- Receiving and processing sprinkler shutdown notifications
- Receiving FAIP information and forwarding to District for processing
If you usually use fireinfounit@fireandemergency.nz or fireinfo@fireandemergency.nz to communicate with the Fire Information Unit, please delete them from your email address book and use the new email address: rcg@fireandemergency.nz
