Fire and Emergency desktop icons changing

IT Support are updating some of the icons on Fire and Emergency desktop screens. This change will now take place at a later date. We'll confirm that date as soon as possible.

What is it?

The following icons on Fire and Emergency Windows 10 devices (excluding Citrix) will be replaced:

We will be updating these shortcuts as they have the wrong web address in the link. We will also be replacing the default 'Internet Explorer' icon with more unique icons to help distinguish each shortcut from one another.

When is it happening?

The planned date and time for this change will now be confirmed at a later date. We'll let you know once we've confirmed the new date.

We predict that for desktop computers at stations these changes will be completed within 24 hours.

What do I need to do?

For tablets and laptops, the devices must be connected to the FENZ Corporate network via your docking station, or the Wi-Fi network, FireRescue.

Please note that the Wi-Fi network Servimus will not work.

If you are working from home or offsite using public Wi-Fi, these changes will not take affect until you return to your place of work.
