Chief Executive Kerry Gregory has today opened a further consultation on the structure of People Branch. The consultation runs until midday Wednesday 21 December and is open to all Fire and Emergency people, including volunteers.

The proposals include some revisions to those made in an earlier consultation in September in response to your feedback. Kerry will announce decisions from both consultations in February 2023, and the changes will be implemented by mid-year.

The proposed changes to People Branch structure are part of a wider reset of the branch that includes a refocus on our five organisational priorities by National Managers and changes to our ways of working. The goal is to remove duplication, standardise processes and work together better.
