Auckland has experienced a long dry summer with far less rainfall received than normal resulting in reduced storage capacity in the Hunua and Waitakere water storage dams. As a result Auckland’s water supply situation is becoming more severe.

Level 2 does mean things get back to some normality but with continuing restrictions. However, it is now an important time where we all must exercise even more self-discipline to ensure we stay alert and keep ourselves safe.Although the number of cases of COVID-19 remain low, the risk is still there.
