The 2 yearly Medical co-response recertification course (formerly known as First Aid Refresher) for all operational personnel from Areas 3, 4 and 5 will start on the 29th of June 2021.
Expressions of interest are invited from Existing Career Staff for a secondment position within the Waitemata Fire Area for the following position - Fire Risk Management Officer.
All career personnel are eligible to receive the COVID vaccine now as part of Group 2 in the Government’s vaccine programme roll out. The vaccination requires two doses of the vaccine to be administered 21 days apart.

Those staff who would like to be considered for movement to any station within Area 4, Auckland City are to apply using the Area 4 Station Preference form and note up to THREE station preferences.

Recently our volunteer and career firefighters have dealt with a structure fire in Coatesville where a father and his young son were found deceased. It is tragic these two people died, and our thoughts are with their friends and family.
