OICs are reminded about the need for proper reporting of unwanted alarms.
Check all standpipes. If any are found to have welded barrels they are to be removed immediately from service and the Region Equipment Coordinator is to be contacted for a replacement.

The NZ Rugby League, the International Rugby League and Rugby Football League are offering all staff of Fire and Emergency NZ free entry to the triple header taking place on Saturday 2 November at Eden Park.
Due to the significant nature and extended duration of the ICC Incident a two stage debrief process is being implemented.
Note that, while Fire and Emergency is working with St John, Wellington Free Ambulance, the New Zealand Professional Firefighters’ Union (NZPFU), and other representative associations on agreed arrangements for responding to non-purple medical emergencies, co-response brigades will only respond to purple medical emergencies.
