I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Wipari Henwood to the role of Area Manager in Area 1 (Muri Whenua). Read all of notice.
The 2 yearly first aid refreshers for all operational personnel from Areas 3, 4 and 5 will start on the 22nd of May. The first aid refreshers will be held at the Counties Manukau Fire Area Headquarters, the Region 1 Training Centre and the Waitemata Fire Area Headquarters.
It is with mixed emotions that I announce the retirement of Larry Cocker, Area Manager of Counties Manukau Fire Area. Larry’s last day with the NZ Fire Service will be the 30th June 2017 and on this date he will have contributed 45 years and 9 days of service.
