Expressions of Interest. AAM Secondment development opportunity
Area 3 ( Waitemata ) is calling for expressions of interest to cover a short term absence. It is expected the secondment period will be for 6 weeks but may be subject to change by agreement.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand funds annual influenza vaccinations for all paid staff. Nurses contracted to Medpro Healthcare will provide this service as i previous years. Crews are invited to attend cluster stations on the dates and times in the attached schedule.
Senior Station Officer Bill Pike will be heading to sunny Nelson on secondment as Assistant Area Manager for approximately 6 months. Bill starts in Nelson on 11 February. We wish Bill all the best in this growth opportunity.
South Auckland Fire District Career Annual Health Screening Checks are due. All sessions will be held at Counties Manukau Fire Area HQ in the downstairs Ardmore Meeting/VC Room.
Auckland City Station BA hub has 2 loan Multi-Rae gas detectors available, for Areas 3, 4 and 5, to be used as temporary replacements should your detector require servicing or repair.

Angus 464 Ladder Capability
Auckland’s Angus 464, 4 person ladder, capability is no longer. Our last “464” has been withdrawn from service at St Heliers station and may soon be enjoying retirement with the historical society.
