The physical competency assessment is due again in 2018 for all career operational personnel. Please find attached two schedules for all career operational personnel in the Waitemata Fire Area. The first schedule is for the practice days, and the second schedule is the actual PCA days.

The 3rd Quarter station audits are due to start in March. During the audit officers will discuss with the AAM their OSM performance, Business Plan ‘year to date’ performance, SMS overdue tasks and Total Station Workload responsibilities.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand funds annual influenza vaccinations for all paid staff. Nurses contracted to Medpro Healthcare will provide this service as in previous years.

All Stations must complete annual hose testing [including all spare hose] and water way equipment testing, for the year 2018-2019. All hose and water way equipment are to be tested as per the latest version of the Hose Technical Manual E4-1 and Waterway equipment testing RD5-9.
Station Spring Clean Visit for the 2018-2019 Financial year starting 1st July 2018.
The annual "station spring clean visit" is due for the Waitemata Fire Area from about early March 2018.
The roll out of the B. A. duration wheel in Waitemata, Area 3 will start next week. The wheel is a simple manual device for easy calculation of entry control times: Relief Assembled (RA), Relief In (RI) and Time Due Out. They are allocated to telemetry and standard B.
