It is with much sadness I report of the passing of First class fireman Garry Cargill (retired) who passed away Tuesday 31st July at 0930 hrs

LUXFER 9 litre composite cylinders with the manufacture date 2015/11 are to be removed from service irrespective of pressure. Please check your stock and remove these immediately.

When Luxfer 9 and 6. 8 litre composite cylinders manufactured from 2015 are presented for filling, the filler will carry out a manual check for valve tightness before any filling commencing.
Along with its salvage capability the Incident Support Vehicle (Balmoral 6117) has an array of ventilation fans that may be used at a wide range of incidents, for a variety of purposes, across the region. These may include but are not limited to:
Ventilation of large commercial structures.
Control of motorway on-ramp traffic signals
Traffic congestion on motorway on-ramps can cause a significant delay to appliances responding to incidents. Auckland’s Joint Transport Operations Centre(JTOC) utilise traffic signals to filter traffic onto the motorway system throughout the region. Control of those signals is managed in their operations centre.

This notice is to clarify the Hazmat/Decontamination Capability of
Auckland City 2018 and Otara 3318. The decontamination corridors are currently no longer carried on these appliances. Auckland City 2018 and Otara 3318 do carry equipment for deployment of functional decontamination showers to meet our operational needs.
