Due to a positive community case in Auckland, who has travelled to the Coromandel during their infectious period, the Government has made Alert Level changes.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has advised that COVID-19 vaccine stocks will be tight for the next five weeks. We are working closely with MedPro and the MoH to minimise any impact on our people.

We understand that some personnel may be using the lightweight wildland helmet neck protector on their structural firefighting helmet. The wildland helmet neck protector does not provide adequate thermal or physical protection in structural fires.
