Remove all soft components from the helmet, i. e. neck protector, leather/merino sweat pads from the headband and nape strap.

The Wildfire risk for Auckland and Northland continues to remain Extreme. The current and forecast Fire Danger far exceeds the Fire Danger levels experienced at the time of some of the previous larger fires we have had within the region and indeed nationally.

This notice is to advise you all, Naomi McRae, the daughter of Station Officer Ewen McRae and partner of Qualified Firefighter Richard Lavin was seriously injured in a car crash in Karaka early this morning.
She is currently in Auckland Hospital in intensive care.
