From 6. 00am Sunday 7 March 2021 follow the Service Delivery Preventative Protection Protocols (SDPPP) for Alert Level 2. Ensure that all operational personnel continue to undertake COVID questioning at incidents in order to assess risk and wear the correct COVID PPE.
To assist our Rostering teams in their ability to maintain adequate staffing levels across Te Hiku Region it has been agreed that effective immediately that 48 hours’ notice will be required in advance for any discretionary leave to be taken.
It has been an exceptional week - as we operate at Alert Level 3 and now with the tsunami risk this morning. Thank you again for everything you are doing to keep our communities safe. I do want to address one issue that has raised some concern.
This Operational Instruction is to ensure that Areas 3,4,5 can sustain adequate operational staffing to maintain operational response to the community through this pandemic period, keep our personnel safe at work and to mitigate the risk of infection across individual personnel, workgroups and stations.

From midnight on Monday 22 February 2021, follow the Service Delivery Preventative Protection Protocols (SDPPP) for Alert Level 1. Ensure that all operational personnel continue to undertake COVID questioning at incidents in order to assess risk and wear the correct COVID PPE.
This Operational Instruction is to ensure that Areas 3,4,5 and Auckland Rural District are aware of the appropriate SDPPP to follow and Local Operating Procedures.
Following the latest changes to the National Alert Levels, please ensure all personnel are aware of the changes and to follow the correct SDPPP.
