The Ministry of Health (MoH) has advised that COVID-19 vaccine stocks will be tight for the next five weeks. We are working closely with MedPro and the MoH to minimise any impact on our people.

ActionCheck that you have the correct neck protector fitted to your helmet. Situation
We understand that some personnel may be using the lightweight wildland helmet neck protector on their structural firefighting helmet. The wildland helmet neck protector does not provide adequate thermal or physical protection in structural fires.
Action
Check your training facilities, fire station buildings and appliances (including relief trucks) for the portable Class B foam fire extinguishers. Remove them from service and notify your Region Equipment and Logistics Manager that you have found some, their location and their condition.
From midday Friday March 12th, Auckland moves from alert level 2 to join the rest of new Zealand at Alert level 1.
