Applications are sought from suitably qualified personnel for a 12-month firefighter(s) secondment opportunity based at Whangarei Fire Station (Area 2 Te Hiku) starting in March 2020.
Due to operational requirements preference will be given to firefighters who are able to demonstrate that they:
are Grade 1 driver qualified.

All firefighters are advised to use the following while cleaning their wildland helmets:
Remove all soft components from the helmet, i. e. neck protector, leather/merino sweat pads from the headband and nape strap.

Part of the Audit will be looking at a combination of Basic Drills from Donning and Starting, Hose Drills and Pump Operation through to Incident Command Functions
