The fire season for the Auckland region is changing tomorrow Wednesday, 7 April 2021 at 0800am.
National Notice 006/2021 advises that in line with Defence Department instructions any of our staff entering MIQ facilities for any reason will have to provide FENZ ID on exiting the building.
Action:
All staff are to read this notice and be aware of operational changes the trial has on radio procedures for Areas 3, 4 and 5. The trial will commence at 0800 hrs 22 March 2021 and end at 0800 hrs 22 May 2021 unless advised otherwise.
The Waitemata Area Management team want to acknowledge all career and volunteer Officers and Firefighters, Chief and Deputy Chief Fire Officers, Area and Operational Support staff and rosters personnel, for the smooth and seamless transition to level 3 lockdown on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
