Since arriving in the Waitemata Fire Area and visiting crews on station I have been concerned about our uniform dress standards. I have always believed that we should all have pride in our uniform and should always present to the public in the most positive way.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand funds annual influenza vaccinations for all paid staff. Nurses contracted to Medpro Healthcare will provide this service as in previous years. Crews are invited to attend cluster stations on the dates and times below.

This notice is to follow up on 008/2019: New local operational planning procedures. Fire and Emergency New Zealand now has a responsibility to review Emergency Response Plans (ERP). Some stations may have already received an ERP to review.

With the new medical kits being delivered it is an important reminder regarding First Aid Supplies. Some Appliances will be using the new Medical Oxygen INHALO. St Johns are still using the old cylinders, therefore you will need to ensure you retain your cylinders when St Johns transport patients.
