We understand that some personnel may be using the lightweight wildland helmet neck protector on their structural firefighting helmet. The wildland helmet neck protector does not provide adequate thermal or physical protection in structural fires.
First Responder personnel to check IV Infusion Sets and to remove from service affected batch numbers as required.
From midday Friday March 12th, Auckland moves from alert level 2 to join the rest of new Zealand at Alert level 1.

From 6. 00am Sunday 7 March 2021 follow the Service Delivery Preventative Protection Protocols (SDPPP) for Alert Level 2. Ensure that all operational personnel continue to undertake COVID questioning at incidents in order to assess risk and wear the correct COVID PPE.

All operational personnel are to:
inspect their Level 2 gloves for wear and tear
check the fit of their gloves using the PPE Inspection and maintenance guide
complete SMS Task: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Quarterly Check.
