Operational considerations at Chemical Suicides
Region One has attended several chemical poisoning suicides over the last five years. These are predominately hydrogen sulphide (H2S) or Helium (He) but may include Cyanide (HCN) poisoning, although the constituent chemicals for HCN are more difficult to obtain.
We are pleased to announce that Steve (Stephen) McRostie has started as the new Regional Telecoms Specialist – Northern. Steve is replacing Neil Wilson and has officially started in the role from 28 January 2019. Neil will continue to provide support during February to assist in hand over.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Tracey Warboys as the Region 1 Safety, Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, based in Northland.
Region 1 has a temporary vacancy for Area Manager, Auckland City starting as soon as possible till the completion of Trance 1 which is expected to be 30 June 2019. This role will be offered as a secondment.

Richard has been in the role of Area Commander Auckland City.
This is to advise that after 17 years service SFF Kororia Kahui-Ariki from Birkenhead green watch has resigned from FENZ and finishes on 15 February, 2019. In addition to her operational duties Kororia was an active member of WFENZ even before it was formalized in 2016.
All Volunteer operational personnel are to be made aware of this notice
